Sun City Fork & Spoon is a tasting adventure I didn't know I needed! Their food tours are a great way to not only awaken your taste buds from different restaurants, bar and grills and personal chefs creative dishes, but also a great way to meet new friends! A must try.

I have used these events as date nights with my husband, who is always pleased. The five-course meals feature dishes that are always delicious and plentiful, complimenting each other beautifully.

  • Sun City Fork & Spoon delivers more than a meal, it creates an experience rooted in flavor, community, and thoughtful hospitality. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere feels welcoming and intentional, striking a balance between relaxed comfort and culinary creativity.

FAQs

A few things to know

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

Yes. In order for us to best plan and accommodate our groups, purchasing tickets in advance is required. If you hear about our excursions last minute, give us a call and we'll try to squeeze you in.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Well thought out events require proper planning. With that said, we have different cancellation policies for different events. With Food Tours, cancellations with refunds are allowed 48 hours in advance. With our Fork & Spoon Specialty Dinners, cancellations with refunds are allowed 96 hours in advance. If you find yourself in a position where you can't join us, we encourage you to gift your seats to another foodie. They'll thank you for it. With our Abuela Approved events, cancellations with refunds are allowed 36 hours in advance.

How long do events last?

Give yourself three hours. We don't like to rush a good thing.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

We want to make sure that our guests have the best experience possible. Always, ALWAYS inform us of food allergies. The earlier you book, the sooner we can work to try to accommodate you. Every event is different. Add food to the mix and it's that much more detailed.

What kind of food is served?

We only like good food, so there's that. We work hard to select tastings and entrees we think you'll love. We don't usually share the full menu because we want people to be open to trying new things. That's the whole point of these things, right?

Does the tour go on during inclement weather?

El Paso is the capital of sunshine, but on the rare occasion we don't have that, we will still likely carry on. From time to time, we experience horrible winds. In those cases, we will provide everyone with rocks for their pockets. We don't want anyone blown away.

Is there a dress code?

Dress for the occasion. Whatever makes you happy, makes us happier. Blue jeans and boots are just as fancy as sequin for us. If you're part of a food tour, comfort is in order. While we aren't climbing the Franklin Mountains, we encourage you to wear shoes that are light on your feet.

How many people can come to each event?

Great things come in small packages, so most of are events are smaller in nature. Anywhere from a dozen to twenty-five people is what you can expect with us. We like being cozy. Please know that anything we do, can be done for larger groups Just let us know how big we are going.

Are tips allowed?

Our tour guides work hard to make sure you have a good time. If you think we have earned a little extra, we welcome it. Serving you is our priority.

Do you allow kids?

Most of our experiences are not created with kids in mind, but we do love little foodies. Food tours may be the most appropriate events for kids. You know your little tikes best, so let we'll let you decide.

Do you offer private tours and events?

Absolutely. Anything we offer the public can be done for private groups. This is a great way to celebrate a company milestone, enjoy a friend's birthday, incorporate a bachelorette party, or merge in a team building exercise. Whatever you have in mind, we've got you covered.
